REPLACING DARK GRANITE WITH A LIGHT QUARTZ

A new work surface can completely change how your kitchen looks, feels and works, without starting from scratch.

Replacing oppressively dark granite with bright, subtly-veined quartz was a straightforward way to transform this space, finished with a luxurious undermount ceramic sink.

How it works

1. Removal of your existing work surfaces
The sink is disconnected and the old surfaces are removed in manageable sections, taking great care not to damage surrounding finishes.
2. Laser templating in your home
A laser instrument models every width, angle, curve and radius to sub-millimetre accuracy. The model is reviewed and signed off with you.
3. Fabrication at the factory
The template goes straight to the UK fabricator, where all curves, profiles, holes and apertures are machine cut.
4. Installation in one day
Sections are fixed with epoxy adhesive and sealed, the permanent tap is fitted, and your home is left spotlessly clean.

The result

  • A brighter, fresher room achieved without touching the cabinetry.
  • As a guide, typically 10 working days from booking to templating, and 10 more to installation.
  • No cutting, noise or dust in the house on installation day.

Work surface upgrades are one of the most effective ways to personalise a kitchen you otherwise like.
