An 18-year-old kitchen, transformed rather than replaced
This project began with a kitchen that had a great layout but needed a lift. Instead of starting from scratch, we focused on a thoughtful refresh that made the most impact, updating colours, surfaces and key details to create a space that feels more personal, functional and enjoyable.
What was done
- Professionally sprayed colour scheme
- A calming Farrow & Ball Vert de Terre palette was chosen to enhance the room's natural light, sprayed for a factory-smooth finish.
- Lightly-veined quartz work surfaces
- New surfaces added warmth and durability, immediately lifting the quality of the whole room.
- Luxurious undermount sink
- A subtle but impactful upgrade that improved both the feel and the everyday function of the kitchen.
The result
- Fresh, inviting and unmistakably theirs, without the cost of a full replacement.
- Every detail considered in the context of the existing layout: what worked was preserved, only what needed to change was changed.
A refresh is often the right answer when the layout still suits you but the kitchen no longer feels like yours.
