TRANSFORM with COLOUR

A fresh new colour can transform your kitchen almost overnight

When it comes to painting kitchen cabinet doors, drawer fronts and panels, achieving professional results requires careful preparation, painstaking attention to detail and the right equipment

It’s a real labour of love

Here’s how I achieve factory-quality results

Clean and prepare the surfaces

Start by removing any hardware and thoroughly clean the doors

Use a natural yet powerful detergent to remove grease, dirt, and any residue

Especially in the corners!

Sand, sand, sand

Evenly and lightly sand all surfaces to create a smooth base for the paint

Fill any defects and repair any damage

Choose the perfect colour

Choose your colour from any popular range available, for example, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or Dulux

It’ll be colour-matched in an extremely durable industrial-grade paint that’s specifically designed for cabinets

Apply the paint with a professional spray system

The paint is applied in a spray booth using an advanced spray system for the best quality results

Prime the surfaces

The doors receive 2 or more colour-matched primer/ undercoats to ensure excellent adhesion and the most durable finish

Apply the topcoats

The doors receive 2 or more topcoats to ensure the smoothest, most even finish possible

Allow for proper drying and curing

After applying each coat of paint, the doors are allowed to fully dry and cure

This ensures that the finish is fully hardened and most resistant to damage
