Bespoke Oak and Ply Kitchen

Having moved into their new home a few months ago, the clients were ready to create their dream kitchen from scratch; a contemporary, freestanding, multi-functional space suited to open-plan living

Initial sketches were discussed and formalised into CAD renders on the computer, in order to structure thinking and explore design ideas - including oak posts that extended up through the worktops and are visible on the surface

Joinery was designed and potential issues were overcome at the “drawing board” stage

Finally, the build could begin in solid European oak, premium quality oak-veneered birch ply and topped with colourful ply-and-formica worktops

Customer Testimonial:

After having spoken to a few joiners about the plans I had for my kitchen, I didn’t feel like any of them quite understood my vision! As soon as Nick came round to discuss, I just knew he could visualise my ideas

From receiving the first fantastic CAD designs until he started construction, Nick always kept us in the loop, so we always knew what stage we were at and when the construction began

Photo updates were very exciting, and we had a few tweaks to make along the way. Each time Nick personally came to see us to discuss each option so we could make the right decision

He is organised, professional and great at communication, all the things a professional should be

When it came to installation, he was very quiet, tidy, organised and never felt like he was intruding in our personal space, which, when you are renovating and have lots of work going on, seems like a constant struggle!

The end piece is just a work of art, we absolutely love it and it’s a dream come true for us

If you are thinking about using Nick’s company for your project, do not hesitate. We will be using Nick for future projects and are happy to show you our kitchen if you want to have a look at the craftmanship
